Life in Woburn

woburn trainLocated about 10 miles north of Boston, the small, bustling city of Woburn MA is a great place to live and work. Its population of about 39,000 residents consist of a mix of families, young professionals, married couples and elderly residents.

Woburn is a great place to live for those who commute into the Boston and the surrounding areas for school or work because it offers easy access to both I-93 and I-95. The Anderson Regional Transportation Center is a local center of transit, offering MBTA Commuter Rail service to Boston and Lowell, as well as Amtrak Service to Portland, ME, and bus rides to Logan International Airport.

The local public school system recently built several new schools including Woburn Memorial High School. St. Charles is a popular private school in the area for families with children in grades Pre-K through 8th.

Woburn has a rich history with roots in the 1600s and the timeless feel of this classic American city still remains. The town’s many colonial-style homes and buildings are a representative of Woburn’s history and its role in the American Revolution.
